One Shots: WoW! How things change

Filed under: World of Warcraft, Fantasy, Screenshots, One Shots

Since we've been enjoying some old-school shenanigans recently, I thought I'd actually detour off from reader submissions to share with you this gem from the Massively file archives. This screeshot was from Blizzard's 2004 World of Warcraft fansite kit, featuring the much-more-realistic looking human females -- with really nice abs! When compared to the humans in-game now, they really stand out from the stylized look they've achieved with the rest of the game. But part of us wouldn't have minded them leaving them alone, if only because it would have been nice to look at.

Do you have a screenshot that will make everyone stop and stare with how stark the difference is -- either from then, or from now? If so, drop it into the mail to us here at oneshots@massively.com! This column lives or dies on reader submissions, so take part and make sure your story is told.
