- 14,245 new signups bringing the total to 12,718,348 signups.
- A peak concurrency of 58,892 at 1:55PM, and a minimum concurrency of 33,123 at 1:15AM. Median concurrency for the day was 45,209.
- The Grid Stability Index for the day was 1.08 (lower is better).
- Sky News' Jason Farrell ran the debate that wasn't actually a debate about a topic that wasn't the advertised topic in front of an increasingly hostile audience. Survey says: Media stunt.
- The Rock Vault opens in Second Life, selling both virtual and physical tee-shirts in a very heavy-metal-macabre setting.
- Word came down that three famous SL musicians will be taking the physical stage in the Rock-It room in San Francisco next Wednesday.
- The Linux Second Life viewer finally made it into fully-featured beta, after 25 months as an open alpha.
- Linden Lab announced changes to island transfers to reduce multiple sales frauds.
