The official Warhammer Online news hub has posted up a slew of Empire and Chaos information. The article discusses classes and most of their respective mastery paths -- three for each class. The only class that seems completely left out of the mix is the Empire tank, the Knight of The Blazing Sun. There is a chaos correspondence letter and then a ton of lore to chew through -- if you like. Finally, we're treated with tons of new screenshots to obsess over -- including some pretty interesting captures of the Chaos Marauder class.

The Marauder is looking pretty cool and giving off some nice disturbing vibes, no doubt about it. We're especially fond of those weird ethereal, tentacle -- things. We are also bit curious as to why the Knight of The Blazing Sun is the only class absent from the update. It seems a bit strange, since it's not as if the class was a big mystery in the past. We're wondering if the missing Empire tank is going through some kind of overhaul -- it would certainly explain his absence.

As for the actual master paths themselves, the update only gives a generalized idea of what to expect. The mastery paths sound like they will offer a good way to tweak a class, so that it's not exactly the same as every other Warrior Priest or Chosen running around the game world. Hopefully when some concrete information on the mastery system is released, we'll still feel the same way.
