Cinemassively: Making shirts for Second Life in ArtRage
Filed under: Video, Tips and tricks, Second Life, Free-to-play, Cinemassively, Machinima, Education, Virtual worlds
Using ArtRage, a program that offers both free and paid versions, Torley shows us how to use the tools. Afterwards, he explains tracing and preparing the image for upload in SL. At almost 17 minutes, you're walked through every step of the process. Soon we'll all be clothing makers!
If you have machinima or movie suggestions from any MMO, please send them to machinima AT massively DOT com, along with any information you might have about them. Please note that due to the high volume of Second Life submissions, we would prefer submissions from other platforms.

Artrage is a lovely natural media program to use - and even for super skilled computery artists, is a welcome change in it's immediacy and minimalism. For anyone who wishes to forget their using a computer and just paint stuff (especially if you have a tablet) I highly recomend ArtRage. It's a painting program for immersionists - a breath of fresh air in it's free version, and well worth the price of entry should you wish to go further with it :)

Sigh... Windows-only. Anyone know if it works with WINE?

Well, there's also an OS X version, but if you're asking about WINE then I suppose that won't help you.
