One Shots: Now where do we go?

Today's One Shots comes to us from Matt D, who took a break from City of Heroes to adventure around the lands of Hyborea in Age of Conan. While some feel that the gameplay is lacking, the look of the world really is quite eye-catching. Here's what Matt D. had to say about this particular screenshot: My guild, The Sentinels, constructed a Trading Post in our village. This shot is of a few of us screwing around for a while, basking in it's awesomeness.

The imagery is stunning. A welcome site to see for MMO games, many of which lack a strong graphical component. More of a sci-fi MMO player myself, I may have to dust off the 'ol battle ax for Conan.

Oh yes "trading posts" suuuure. This kind of things reminds you how poor of contents these games are. Because those guys cant actually USE that cool building as a trading post, can they?
One other strange and contradictory thing is that since there's nothing such as "making trading posts" in AoC (actually taking hold of the area resources and earn a profit, which would have been SO cool), it's normally called "roleplaying", to point out the fact that there's nothing "real", underlining the nerdish attitude of roleplayers, while if this was an actual game feature noone would have called it roleplaying....
isn't that odd?

My point is that your comment makes little sense. Aside from your grammatical errors, you seem to have this incoherent idea that a "trading post" should somehow mimic a "real life" version of trading posts. In AoC, they are called "tradeposts", and it is where your bank, e-mail, "auction house" and guild bank are accessed.
I gather from the first half of your first sentence (2nd paragraph), this is what you find odd.
After that, you seem to have no clear way of communicating your ideas, and frankly, your gibberish was lost on me. Hence, I find you odd; most people I chat with convey their thoughts clearly and with purpose. You, sir, do not. You mention "roleplaying", and I can only imagine you roleplaying as the village idiot.
If you want to call me "retarded" for failing to comprehend the ramblings of an uneducated person such as yourself, that's fine. I hope it makes you feel better.
