One Shots: Tursh at dusk

My new PC can run the game at max settings and I've concluded that there is no other game on the market (not even Conan) that can compete with Vanguard in terms of visual design and sheer graphical technology. The recent patches have improved an already underrated gaming experience by leaps and bounds. Let's hope Sony pushes the free trial out of the door soon so more people can experience it.
Free time-card finds are always sweet, but free trials are tasty too! We'll second the hope that SOE will open up Vanguard for a trial, considering how well the Living Legacy promotion seems to have gone. Even so, we're glad to see games that we don't often see. If you play a game we don't often see, why not send those in to us here at oneshots AT massively.com. All MMOs are welcome!

If you define good visual design as animated plastic dolls, you're right, Vanguard is the best of the best! It suffers from EQ2 syndrome, bad.

Always nice to see Vanguard getting some spotlight time. I absolutely agree that it does look awesome.
The Isle of Dawn is on the Test server now and should be going live relatively soon. Not only is it a new starting area for players to choose if they want, but it's also going to be Vanguard's free trial we've all been waiting so long for.

Bleah, the player models in this game are only slightly better than EQ2's. Talk about Uncanny Valley. At least the game itself's gotten better now that Brad McQuaid isn't killing it.

New character models are going live at the same time as Isle of Dawn, the new trial area.
