I like to see something like 'The Guild".. comedy based on things going on in and out of game.

A straight adaptation of a traditional MMO to a TV show, or vice versa, would be disastrous. We remember the good parts of MMOs, but what about the grind to get there? Is a WoW TV show going to show people grinding away for half an hour, 45 minutes, at the same mobs? Of course not, it'd make terrible television. So what happens to the person who picks up WoW because WoW TV looks cool? Aren't they going to be massively disillusioned when they find out that the game is so much duller than the TV show? Not to mention that they're not the star?

I could totally see LOTRO as an epic movie, perhaps even a series of sweeping epic films.

I remember G4 doing something like that - they took in-screen game video of toons doing emotes of Second Life, DAoC and others to make a show. Similar to what those Red vs. Blue Halo Guys do. The name escapes me.
