Warhammer launch day announcements, letter from Mark Jacobs

It's early on Warhammer Online's launch day, and we have a few last minutes tidbits of news to share with you on this auspicious morning. Mark Jacobs offered up a big, juicy community update just an hour before the game went live at midnight EST. Here are the highlights:- There's been a lot of community frustration with the dual-clickthroughs on every login. Every time a player logs into Warhammer, they're required to scroll down and click through both the game's Code of Conduct and End User License Agreement, something that the WAR bigwigs claimed was non-negotiable. It turns out that Jacobs was able to get that negotiated, and as a result players will 'only' have to click through the game's EULA when they log in.
- The developers have been focusing heavily on client stability, in the wake of a Beta test marred a bit by crash-to-desktop issues. As the result of a recent patch, CTD issues have been "cut by 50%" according to the company head.
- A small number of CE head start servers were just crushed by the number of people jumping onto them. The company is going to be dealing with these hard cases in a unique fashion: they're going to make complete copies of the server states to fresh hardware. Players and guilds can choose which of the two servers they want to play on, with their complete progress, guild names, and inventories intact.

So in short the real launch day started (sorry CE head start does not count).
1. Some really full servers(even crashing sometimes) (long waiting times & downtime)
2. Client stability problem still change for CTD issues (higher them other games great when you doing RvR ;))
3. Get knocked off the server for whatever reason? You get to read the EULA again! Oh, and there’s two. A EULA *AND* a Code of Conduct!
And the day is just started??!! Already the first 2 are big issues the 3rd one make the 2nd even worst.
You can say all you want about World of Warcraft's launch day but the fact is that the game is running great now with a stable client and best of all some of the WAR tryouts still got there wow account with game time... so they better if a hell of a WAR launch day or its game over for them and back to WoW.

Did you just compare a game that's been out forfour years to one starting today? Did you play Day One with WoW? It was a tragedy. People whole servers weren't up, people couldn't play for the day, even the day after.
But that's NORMAL for an MMO. WAR, however, is up, the servers are full but they're not crashing. And reading the ToS never hurt anyone, three extra seconds my friend.
