Ever since the announcement of the
Warhammer Online collector's edition back in March, we've been dying to get our hands on this thing. The massive
WAR CE not only offers up the usual in-game goods, it comes with top quality physical items as well. There's an art book, natch, but there's also a fantastic graphic novel that walks through the backstory of each player race. Want to know what the Greenskins are making Waagh? This edition of the game has a tome that will tell you.
Read on through to our
Unboxing the CE of WAR gallery to get a good look at this collector's item. We even peak inside, to give you as sense of what's beyond those impressive-looking covers. Check it out!

Yeah, I was surprised by the weight of it. It's probably 5-10lbs.
The books are quite large as well. I would say a good reference for the art book would be a D&D players handbook. About the same size and weight. The graphic novel is a bit thinner but the same size.
Also, I'm not sure if you can tell from the pics but the mini comes just like all the regular warhammer minis, disassembled and unpainted. Quite nice!

Yeah, it was kind of amusing reading posts on Warhammer Alliance from people thinking their miniature was broken lol.

I was Very pleased with my CE. I knew it was going to have a lot of stuff, but I was surprised by the how high quality the stuff was.
The ingame stuff (like the heads and the 2 bonus quests per race) are kinda bleh.... but the physical goodies more than made up for it. =)

That looks very very sweet. Even more eager to get my hands on it now. *clicks the track parcel button more often, muttering about the weekend and postal services not working*
