Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO to replace KotOR 3

In a recent video interview with Gamespot, the folks at BioWare have made quite a few exciting announcements regarding the highly-anticipated Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. Most notably, Tom Nichols, Executive Producer for LucasArts, revealed that this newly-announced MMO will replace the Knights of the Old Republic 3 project. "There's no reason to limit it to a single-player experience," Nichols says.

Much of this decision had to do with their partnership with BioWare, who has a bit of experience with MMOs and great storytelling themselves. According to BioWare's Creative Director, James Ohlen, the sheer amount of content in this MMO project could be comparable to "KotOR 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 plus."
