since i have only rarely played the game i wonder what all the numbers really mean. it dont seem to have any weapons so you would have to strike a deal with a corp for protection it would seem.
(The Orca will run you an estimated 400 million ISK in capital ship components.
The Industrial Command Ship skills costs 50 million ISK.
The Orca blueprint will cost 1 billion ISK.)
what i find funny is how the blueprint cost a billion lol but over all 1450 billion how long would that take you too make back. yes it is a game but a game that allows real world money rules as well.

Hi Steve,
Most players will not be purchasing the blueprint original. That's more for those who are into ship manufacturing as a business, the people that crank out hundreds or thousands of these ships over time.
Your average run-of-the-mill industry player who decides to train up for the Orca would only be looking at the ship cost plus the skill cost (and insurance), so likely over 500 million ISK in the beginning. Not an insubstantial amount, but it'll definitely be *well* under a billion ISK to get into the Orca. (Watch as I get proven wrong on that.)
The 400 million ISK is an estimate of what the Orca price *could* be on the market once it balances out, some weeks or months after the blueprint is introduced to the game.
Hope that helps. And you're right about not having weapons beyond drones. But the nature of the ship, in terms of the bonuses presently listed, really does make this something that will used in group operations.
