Filed under: Fantasy, Contests, Warhammer Online
The lore of Warhammer is deep, rich, and colorful. Today we have two chances for you to explore that lore firsthand. This first giveaway offers up two tomes: the Warhammer Online graphic novel Prelude to War, and the novelization of the MMO entitled Empire in Chaos. Between the two books this pack is worth about $35. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post telling us what your favorite Warhammer feature is. Are you a Scenarios nut, or did you subscribe because of the epic Public Quests? You'll need to comment before 7:00 AM EST Sunday, November 9th. You can only enter once per person, and after the contest closes we'll ship out these fantastic prizes to one randomly-selected winner. Give us at least a week to ship out this massive pile of swag, though. To win you must be age 18 or up and a resident of the US or Canada (excluding Quebec). For full eligibility details, we suggest you read our official rules. Good luck!

I like the open RVR, I was never able to get into RVR in any other MMO, it just never appealed to me, but in WAR it is awesome!

The scenarios are the reason I play. Finally, PvP I can get attached to.

Now I am a PVP NUT! this was my gateway drug, now I want better PVP in Conan now that I see what it CAN be and I want this playstyle in WOW!!!... oh good! They JUST copy and pasted some of it!

I like the Open RvR best although the scenarios can be fun at times and the PQs are great if you have a group.

Open RVR - just wish more players would do it at low levels...

The lore, concept, and background of the game is fun.
But, the PvP is awesome.
Above all, I actually have fun in this mmo. Something I've missed for a while.

I love the way Mythic transferred tabletop Warhammer to MMO medium. The game breaths Warhammer from each and every model and texture. It's really nice to, so to speak, see this world from miniatures' eye level, so unlike the usual from-behind-the-table viewpoint.

I love the humour. Particularly in regard to the Greenskins. Their quests, their NPC's, and their abilities all make me laugh. The goblin /special is just flat out comical, and who can NOT smirk at abilities titled "'Ey Quit Bleedin'" and "Kick 'em in the Gibblies"...

To be honest, it is quite difficult to choose just one feature of Warhammer which takes trhe cake! If I absolutely have to choose only one, my choice is the pve aspect, since I am an explorer at heart!

I like the fact that event though it is set and advertised as a heavy PVP game in the end, it still has a lot of pve features and lots of lore to go with it.
