Cryptic may be porting Champions / Star Trek Online to the PS3

The Craigslist listing specifically calls for a "PS3 Engine Programmer", and the job description includes daily duties touching on the company's massively multiplayer games. "We have developed a flexible, cutting edge MMO platform to power games like Champions and Star Trek Online. It runs on PC and XBOX 360 - now we want to support PS3 too." Kotaku labels this as a rumor, and rightly so; no confirmation or announcement from Cryptic means that this may be nothing more than fact-finding.

Exploiting SPU parallelism to get the maximum performance out of the system.
Extending existing systems to adapt to the ever-changing needs of a massively multiplayer game.
Collaborating with innovative art and design teams.
What you need to work here:
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Extremely proficient in C programming and debugging. You must be a brilliant programmer.
Thorough understanding of the PS3 - SPUs, RSX, SPURS multi-threading, etc.
Love videogames - Console AND MMO.

I sincerely hope this is the case. Should Champions Online come out for both PC and the PlayStation 3, I know I'd buy both versions.

My question is how intelligent will the MMORPG gameplay evolve when played on a console. But if I remember right any USB keyboard(ibm) will work with the PS3. That would work for me if it is a "good game".
