Hands on with the Rune-keeper When The Lord of the Rings Online's new expansion, the Mines of Moria launches on November 18, two new master classes will be available to the player base: The Warden, a tank/dps class and The Rune-keeper, a healing/nuking class. The reason they are dubbed "master class" is that they are difficult to learn, but are powerful allies when mastered. |

releasing MoM so close to WotLK was a great move, its aimed at the core fans of LotRO people who are not floating between MMO's. it was a blod move by turbine that bassicly made clear that they have a plan for the game and dont care what the others are doing.
as for the game, i think its going to be a great success with a high pickup rate.
lets face it, so far, theres been no 'down side' to MoM found. great stable release, dont get me wrong Blizzard are doing great things too though.

You know why I like LoTRO more than WoW, their attention to the lowbies. I am just a lvl 30 in LoTRO and I am still excited for this new expansion. And I get to play the new classes which should be awesome on its own. Then there are Legendary items, which has to be the coolest feature in any online game I have seen so far.
Nothing against WoW though, they are amazing at what they do. Its just that its everywhere you look and it can get a bit overwhelming at times. I find the LoTRO community a little bit more mature, but that may be because its smaller.
All in all I am loving this, soo many new MMOs coming dont know which to play anymore.
