Age of Conan's 31 days of Christmas

'Two-handed axes' and 'Christmas' used in the same context generally conjures up images of Silent Night, Deadly Night, but there's an Age of Conan contest running throughout December that's equally festive. Funcom is giving away in-game items for Age of Conan every day this month, in the spirit of Christmas gore. All you need to do to enter is fire off an email to: contest AT ageofconan DOT com, with "Season Give-away" as your subject. You'll need to provide them with your name, address, phone number and Age of Conan account name. Once that's done, you're in the running for this set of in-game items:
- The Snow Mammoth
- The War Mammoth
- The Killer Rhino
- Ring of Acheron
- Drinking Cape
- Bag of Holding
- Amazon Bow
- Totem of Origins

Hate to say it, but... is this all they can do? Why not fix the bugs that are still present since the beta back in March? Why do they still not have DirectX 10 that actually works that was advertised on TV and on the back of the box? Why does failcom keep lying to their customers and throwing them bones like 'free in-game items' ? I know Funcom is trying to keep its fanbase happy, but not fixing any of the bugs that have been part of the game since the beginning is kinda pathetic...
Funcom... FIX THE BUGS! NO ONE CARES ABOUT FREE IN-GAME ITEMS! ZOMG!!

One the first day of Christmas, Funcom gave to me.....
....one giant turkey.
These are just slightly reskined versions of exclusive items that people paid for with pre-order or the collectors edition. Overall 2/10, just because the mammoth looks good.

I see the trolls have nothing better to do again.
Please guys - get a life, or a job, or a girlfriend. Your sad obsession with Funcom is just pathetic. Age of Conan is a *game* - not a cure for cancer.

Please stop squawking, you have your say, others are free to have theirs. The more you go on about this, the more people feel compelled to respond negatively and the behaviour becomes self perpetuating.
If overall there is poor reception to a game, then it should be reflected in comments.
Thanks

You don't have an opinion, you have an obsession.
I advise killing yourself, even for the internet you and david have achieved a very special form of pathetic.

What I like to see is a "come back and try free for two weeks." let me see if there are any improvements to keep me in AoC.

i dont pay a single cent to test out if failcom got the basics of their game straigt till now. If they want me to check em out again they need to give me a free to play period. Tho I doubt its worth to look for the CD and wasting the time for patching the up...
