DC Universe Online video walkthrough shows new things aplenty

There's been a lot information coming out of CES 2009 concerning DC Universe Online, but it's all been text up until recently. Gametrailers has a three part video walkthrough that details things like character creation philosophy, combat, movement powers and even a fight alongside Superman himself. If that's not putting your tights in a tizzy, we're not really sure what will.
From the looks of things, DC Universe Online is certainly making good progress. We've been seeing the new player models for a couple of days now, but this is the first time in a while that we've seen any movement/attack animations. The newly added acrobatics travel power reminds us a lot of super leaping in City of Heroes, only with the added benefit of air-dashing, wall-grabbing and double-jumping. We're also digging the death penalty, or lackthereof, and how players can rally back from a knockdown if allies are nearby.

Well maybe they will be able to move the interface around to whatever you like..
Also, Does anyone else think that this game is looking closer to being done than Champions?

It does look to be pretty well along. I also thought the same thing about the interface initially, but I guess theres only so many ways you can arrange interface elements and people have settled on this format.
About the video. Animations look terrible, I hope they put a LOT of time into fixing this. The graphics looked good though.
Then he said it "this is an action MMO, so no auto-attack and no dice rolls". This usually is a thin veil meaning the game is dumbed-down for consoles. Even the hot-bar at the bottom only had about 8 total abilities. Sure it's fun to jump into Marvel Ultimate Alliance (came out a few years ago, look it up - fun game) but it's not what I expect from an MMO. I want something more complex then a button-masher.
Something I came away from the video with was - acrobatics sucks and you'd be an idiot to pick it over super-speed. Unless it provides some kind of defensive bonus or something that wasn't apparent in the video why would you pick it? The super-speed guy was moving at 5Xs the speed and even running up buildings.
