Massively's EVE Online new player guide

Since I began writing the EVE Evolved column, I've always prided myself on making the articles I write as accessible as possible to new EVE Online players and even people who don't play the game. From my first guide on EVE's skill system to my most recent guide series on the art of tanking, I like to think people of all levels of familiarity with EVE can get something out of them.
In the past few months, the column has been aimed at informing new and prospective players about the varied world of New Eden and giving them the helping hand they deserve in getting started. In this handy wrap-up (or should I say warp-up?) article, I've collected all of the articles aimed at new and prospective players into a set of handy clickable image links.

You should have an article on recovering - for example - I didn't know that if you didn't talk to an agent after accepting a mission for 7 days they get totally pissed off and won't ever talk to you again. Bummer...

@Verit
If you let an outstanding mission offer expire, you'll lose a bit of standing with the agent and the corp&faction the agent belongs to, but that's all.
The reason the agent won't talk to you is because that loss in standing has pushed you below the standing requirement for that agent. All you need to do is to regain the standing with the corp again and you'll be able to use that agent.

EVE beats all MMOs hands down if you never join a good corp that fits your goals or don't travel to low Sec, your missing out on 90% of what EVE is. I love the fact that after a lvl 3 mission gives you the funds to replace the ship you lost in PVP. I do implore you to buy a PVP ship and a Mission ship. If you have only one ship life in EVE will be hard and seem like work rather than fun. i know when i started i joined a corp and bought a Battleship i still had my frig i used for group PVP i never sold a ship i just changed its soul use. I love that you char can do anything, and the ship you can change to anything (unlike WoW).
This aspect of EVE alows you to have fun rather than it making it feel like work.
i'll tell you a story of one of the PVP matches i have done.
To start off 1 first PVP i used a Amarr Frig (only been playing 8 days still free memebership) my gourp was 1 HAC 2 EW Frigs 2 Frigs. We went to a 0.2 belt looking for weak Gens and LTs (for easy kills) about the 3 hours of killing. Then out of the blue 3 ships warped in all Batts
they targeted the closed EW first. With hearts racing we took focus off the LT and switched to the nearest Batt by the time we all targeted we lost one EW then they focused on the next EW after about 2mins of fighting we killed the first Bat shortly after that we lost the other EW. Now faceing 2 Batts with no EW we decided to run but crazy thing was we couldn't. Still giving it our all we manged to take down the another Batt. We lost but the Rush of losing something in a PVP rather than a respawn alowed us to play our best and get a great rush, shortly after that i fell in love.
In EVE you can still run missions with others with out even fighting by doing other things like using EW, holding items, slavaging, or being a target. No matter how new your are there is a spot for you in a mission or PvP. There is no other game that a 1 month player or less can play a part with a 3 year old player.
