Fallen Earth site redesign shows off new content
Filed under: Sci-fi, Fallen Earth

The Fallen Earth website got a facelift today, but the changes aren't purely cosmetic. The site features some new screenshots and a trailer page, a timeline of events leading up to the game's setting, as well as more backstory and details on the various factions. They've also detailed more of Fallen Earth's skills and abilities, explaining the ten mutation paths (grouped by Augmentation, Restoration, and Destruction) and which factions have an affinity with them.
If you're a fan of the post-apocalyptic game genre and are looking forward to seeing how an MMO can approach this setting, there's plenty of info about Fallen Earth to be found on the revamped game site.

Is it just me or do all the screenshots and videos for this game make the graphics look circa 2000? Not sure how long this game has been in development, but seriously, this game looks terrible.

Believe Icarus Studios has been working on it for several years now, and sure the graphics look dated. Course maybe I am in the minority these days in that I prefer content and gameplay over graphics. While its true graphics are the first thing I see when I start a game, I can quickly get past graphics if the game is compelling. I guess my point is I can play a game longer if the graphics are not really that impressive but the gameplay is fun then I can if the graphics are great but the gameplay is just boring to me. Waited a long time for assassins creed and was just underwhelmed, sure it was pretty... but nothing really making me want to play for hours.
I like what they are saying about factions and no real classes to be bound to, so they will get a run from me.
And the community meet and greet they did here in baltimore helped alot, nice people.

The graphics are very very ordinary. The problem I have is the game is just unplayably laggy.
