As part of our extensive E3 tour through SOE's newest games, launched and upcoming, we got a fairly good look at some gameplay footage in The Agency. Of course, you know The Agency as the spy MMO that had everyone talking at last year's E3. With this new gameplay footage, you lucky readers (or, viewers) get to see what to expect when the game launches.

It's because there was only two people in the entire world. Of course it's not going to feel like an MMO. Imagine showing two characters going through a dungeon killing things, it would ook like any generic rpg. The hall was also a public space, while currently populated with NPC's, after release other people would also be there.
Can't wait, this looks so good.

Really liking how this is turning out. I know they've said they may not release it on both the PS3 and PC at the same time, but I hope they do. Though I have heard the PS3 version is not running nearly as good right now. I would like to play it on the PS3 if I could, (just because its more powerful than my PC) but if its really bad on that or doesn't come out on PS3 at the same time, I guess the PC is what I will be sticking to.
This really is looking good!

I'm actually shocked! Stealth play and fps elements all in an MMO? I really liked that you can get better rewards for completing the mission more thoroughly as well. This game is looking really good.

I had my doubts with the extended dev time and all, but I gotta admit that this game is looking seriously good. It'll be a refreshing change of pace from the usual 'kill monsters and take their stuff' drek we've had shoved down our throats for the past few years.

It seems like BF:Heroes , but a little sneakier..The game system is probably the same as BF:Heroes, I mean, like ..matches with lobbys/servers and you level up which grants you the possibility to buy some new equips and abilities but theres actually no persistent world.. well, you know what I mean.
Cheers

Looks like this game will be more like a Guild Wars or a DDO type of game, with the players interacting and forming teams with each other in "hub" like areas, then going into instances to do the actual missions. Most MMO's I would be totally against that, but a spy themed MMO it was probably the best choice.
Now the important question will be, like all games that rely heavily on scripted instances, will this game have replay value after the first or second time you go through it?

To clarify for all you out there it is a persistent world and you don't just meet in a central hub.....do some reading about this game it is going to be amazing.....and no you don't just form instances you can have your own Agency. Don't base what you see of a live demo as the whole game they were just showing you a sample mission.
