WRUP: No one's playing Team Fortress this week? Really?

- Brendan Drain (@nyphur): In EVE Online, I was planning to test out a terribly overpriced Tengu and run some class 3 wormhole sites but a bizarre event cut our trip short. A ridiculously powerful spawn appeared, more powerful than anything we'd ever encountered in class 3, 4 or 5 systems. It quickly demolished each member of my fleet in turn, then engaged my Tengu as it fled. Although I narrowly escaped with 13% hull remaining, my ship was bugged and unable to use wormholes or activate modules. I filed a stuck petition and thankfully GMs quickly corrected the issue. After that bad omen, I think I'll spend this weekend playing some Runes of Magic.
- James Egan (@jamesegan): Probably only two games, EVE and the beta-which-cannot-be-named. I don't think I'll have a lot of time in EVE this weekend, so likely I'll just run a few level 4's for some extra ISK, maybe head into wormhole space for another Sleeper run. I've got to say, the addition of wormhole exploration to the game is probably one of the best things they've pulled off in the time I've been playing EVE.
- Krystalle Voecks (@Krystalle): I'm finally free from the huge cast, so I'll be catching up on tons of games I've had queued. So far as MMOs, I'll be spending time in Neo Steam, Cities XL, and hopefully EVE.
- Kyle Horner (@kylehorner): After a long, long hiatus I'll be heading back into FFXI this weekend -- only this time it's all going down on my Xbox 360. I also discovered the addicted demo for Dawn of Discovery, so I'll probably play that some more, too.
- Lemuel Pew (@lemmo): I'm in the mood to play something, but I don't know what. Generally when this happens, I'll start with my classics and move up through the game generations, or I'll hunt out new independent titles. If all else fails, there's Free Realms.
- Lesley Smith (@lesleysmith): Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Baking muffins. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Petting the cats. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Sleep. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion. Aion.
- Shawn Schuster (@SSchuster): My weekend family gaming time will be spent in the Aion beta, Free Realms, and The Sims 3, depending on what the kids want to play.
- Tracey John (@TraceyJohn): I'm following Kyle's idea: I think I'll give FFXI a whirl on the Xbox 360. I've been meaning to do that. I've also got an interview with Raph Koster while he's in New York City for the State of Play VI conference. Then on Father's Day, maybe I'll try to get my dad to play Free Realms!
- William Dobson: I feel boring saying that I'll once again be on Warhammer Online... has it really been that long since I stuck with an MMO for a decent chunk of time?
Now tell us, what are you playing this weekend?

This weekend I'll be playing Mount & Blade... one of the best games I've played in years.
I was considering giving lotro another bash, try to reach moria itself (I had a level 30-something warden) but I doubt it. Too much of a time sink.

I played a bit of Aion but found it pretty weak, way to much "kill 10 rats" for me...so Warhammer of course.

Havn't played an mmorpg I like since 2005 when SWG got ruined. I've just been following the genre to see if anything worthwhile gets released but it's all been crap.
So I've been trying to play America's Army but it's aload of buggy crap and doesn't actually work so I wont be giving that anymore time. Tried to play Ghostbusters but I custom installed it and it wouldn't work because theres a bug with that......
So thats it theres nothing else worth playing right now, just waiting for the big titles like Starcraft 2 because I loved the story in the first one so can't wait to find out what happens next.

Seems FFXI gets the popular vote. I've been thinking of diving back into it myself.

Playing a lot of NeoSteam! It still feels like open beta though with glitches. Fast leveling and not needing to pay for anything is sweet. Also they are giving away some free item shop money too. Neosteam is definitely worth trying though PvP is inadequate at the moment...
Fallen Earth sometimes. (Are we still not allowed to say we are in Fallen Earth Beta? heh)
Eve-Online. Waiting for the latest war dec to pass :( Soon will have covert ops ships to fly!
TF2 I still am missing the last spy item.

Oh, also major stumbling block of paying big box prices for Champion's Online or Aion. Probably won't be playing either of them.

Diving back into EQ2 for the summer, to last me until Aion or Champions comes out, whichever is first if not both at the same time.

Well, I planned on giving LOTRO another try this weekend, but seeing as I have the original release discs and not Mines of Moria, the updating process will probably take up all freaking weekend. Anyone know how long this thing takes? I can't figure out their percentages. Apparently 300% doesn't mean three complete updates to Turbine.
