Star Wars: The Old Republic video compiles all in-game footage to date
Filed under: Sci-fi, Video, New titles, Star Wars: The Old Republic

It's probably not much an exaggeration to say that Star Wars: The Old Republic is one of the most hotly anticipated MMOs slated for release in the not-too-distant future. (At least if our traffic related to The Old Republic is any indication.) While the E3 2009 trailer was absolutely stunning the real question is, what will the actual game look like? An impressive trailer means very little if a game doesn't meet expectations.
We've seen bits and pieces of SWTOR gameplay over the past few months, but the guys over at Wandering Goblin came across a compilation of pretty much all of the released in-game footage to date. A fan named "xxHIMxx" compiled it all, and is definitely worth a look for anyone interested in the game, showing off some of the scenery and combat mechanics to be found in Star Wars: The Old Republic. We've got a video embed for you after the jump:

Ingrod half if not most of this video had footage in it that I had never seen....so, it might be new footage for some of us not able to dig up every ounce of material on the game...
Thanks a lot guys, video looked amazing...and it really set the mood for the game...I cant wait!

Wow. Good stuff. I agree with clabo -- I haven't seen about 85% of this footage. Thanks to Massively for putting it up.
Can't wait for this game!

Looks fine to me! As long as it's not real-time FPS action twitch combat, everything works for me.

I really don't want to have to buy a new computer to run this game, but that looks like it will be the case. :/ oh well, the game looks great so far.

the dev's have said that they are shooting for WoW's minimum system req's. tho i suspect that you'll need atleast a vid card that supports pixel shader 2.0 from the looks of the in game footage we've seen so far. shouldn't cost that much to upgrade your machine unless your rocking hardware from 2001.
