Are you going to be at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany? If you are planning to be in the area from the 19th to the 23rd of August, then you should head on over and check out Frogster Interactive's booth. Runes of Magic is going to be attending the convention in style, with 23 high end gaming rigs running Chapter II: The Elven Prophecy.
Frogster is also going to be conducting some nice giveaways as well, including a brand new Runes of Magic PC. Beyond the prizes there will be some small scale panels, including concept artist Eva Widermann explaining the concept artwork she did for Elven Prophecy and Runes of Magic guild Nocturnis giving pointers on how to run one of the game's high end instances.
Excited for more Runes of Magic info? Keep an eye on our site, as we have an upcoming developer's tour through The Elven Prophecy!

Looking forward to Chapter II, 9 more class-combo's to try out.
Hopefully there is some raid content, that's RoM's biggest missing ingedient at the moment.

Runes of Magic you had me at Hello now I may say Good-bye! Why did you ban my friends account without reason me and them have spent alot of money buying diamonds on your game and are now warning others to BEWARE of Frogster and thier wierd ways. All i can say to other is play the game but DO NOT Spend money and be very careful what you say and do in the game or you will end up one of the players who likes the game and is willing to spend money but then all of a sudden without warning you get banned - OH because Frogster is trying to COLLECT NEW ACCOUNTS and get MORE & MORE who will buy diamonds but why are they doing this through banning older accounts of high level players is beyond me - They seem to think they have a reason but sure wont tell! All i say is BEWARE & Play at your own risk but be forewarned i reccomend DO NOT spend any money to buy thier so called "diamonds" they have some type of trap in the T & C so be very CAREFUL!

I also have been banned. Given no reason why I was banned until 3 days after the fact. Given no option to refute the ban. And Not told how long the ban is for (still don't know!)
If you ask me, they are crooks trying to turn new accounts. Its a good game, but don't spend a dime on their diamonds!

Yup I totally and 100% agree that this game is VERY FUN & somewhat addicting especially once you start making friends and forming alliances through a guild or just through routine game play. I play it, my son plays it my ex plays it and my boyfriend plays it, between us all we have spent alot on diamonds. My son however has spent the most so I did contact them and finally got my sons account turn back on. Honestly he spent too much money on this game but I do now respect that after some emails we have gotten some response.
The main response has been that they want to discourage illegal gold selling and item selling activates. Which I can understand their point to this matter to some degree and I do understand that gold farming and item farming can run amuck on popular mmo rpg game however for the players who are legit and spend alot of time, energy and sometimes money on a game character and it's items I am hoping that we can all start getting together and forming some sort of group for MMO RPG Player’s Character Rights. Anyone who is interested is more than welcome to contact me from this message board or from a blog i started about it here: http://rpggamecharacter.wordpress.com

i don't think it makes sense to ban people to create new accounts. it would just be a waste of valuable server space! if frogster went all ban-crazy, i think theyd have a lot of unplayable accounts wasting space in their servers. doesn't sound like a smart business plan.
also, why are YOU spamming random forums and blogs with your whining. I thought it was your friend who got banned? i mean, surely your friend has the internet and his/her cos your friend played the game. unless he/she got banned from the internet. anyways, do you closely monitor your friend? how do you know your friend didn't buy/sell in-game items/gold/diamonds.
if your friend played the game right like any game, i'm pretty sure your friend wouldn't be in such a situation. it would be quite funny to imagine a game master picking a name out of a big tub of high level accounts to randomly ban to possibely collect a new user that may not even possibly put any money into the game. ha!
