DCUO offers up new screens for AGDC

While we're glad that the team at SOE are taking as long as they need to make an awesome game, we'd be lying if we didn't say we're waiting with bated breath for beta access. We can't help it - many of us grew up reading Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and myriad other DC titles so the idea of playing alongside our childhood heroes sounds pretty cool in our books. Perhaps we'll get some other tidbits of DC Universe Online out of AGDC with luck!

Nope, not feeling this.
Just look at shot 23/32, it looks so awkward, almost photoshopped.
I need more from SOE, or this to me is just Champions Online with proper superhero names I recognize rather than Fartbender Mcfiddlepants a la Champions Online.

The game looks gorgeous, but i keep going back to the same issue.
I Do NOT Want To Be Green Lantern's SideKick.
I don't wan't to be anyones sidekick. I want to be a "superhero" yet all of the footage I've seen of this game is "help your favorite heroes fight their greatest foes!" which is cool... kinda... no.. I take that back. I don't like it.
That said the travel powers look totally rad in comparison to the competition.
