@ Colin, I have to disagree that older games offered anything ALL that different from each other, it's the same now but today we just have more flavors and I wonder if you're just not done with the regular MMO genre, because the games you mention that are catching your attention I'm not convinced those are actual MMOs, but variants on the online multiplayer genre and not so keen on the role playing or massively components.
:P That's my impression anyway.
