DDO releases new screenshots and video

Turbine's Dungeons and Dragons Online has released a new group of screenshots from the adventure pack, The Halls of Shan-to-Kor. Shan-to-Kor is listed as a "very long" quest for characters level three to five, with five levels and several adventures. It is DDO's third and final quest in the Seal of Shan to Kor series, which sends players on a quest to defeat the Guardian of Shan to Kor obtain the Seal.
In addition, Dungeons and Dragons Online has also released a new video from the Three-Barrel Cove adventure pack, a quest series for characters level 4 to 7. Three-Barrel Cove, just north of Stormreach, offers plenty to see as well, including 9 adventures, a full-service tavern and 41 wilderness quests. The video can be seen here after the jump, and on Turbine's new DDO YouTube channel.
Both adventure packs are available now and can be purchased in the DDO store.

Szlash you can play DDO Unlimited from anywhere in the world, including Europe. You don't have to wait for ddo-europe to become free. Just go at ddo.com and download the DDO Unlimited client.
Xion the European version isn't free. You have to pay a monthly subscription. (check out http://www.ddo-europe.com) But most Europeans including me are moving to DDO unlimited. Perhaps you downloaded the client from ddo.com

@Astron - thanks :-) But I know that... my main problem is that in "my" prime time, US afternoon, the servers won't be as populated, no?

The servers are very populated at all times since people all over the world play at the same servers. I play in a european time zone as well and never had problems finding groups. Just try it and you 'll see :)

I've got to add that there's a great advantage in being a european player in the US servers. The prices are in US dollars and as you may already know 1 euro = 1.5 USD. So, if you decide to become a V.I.P. or just buy an adventure pack you actually get it for a pretty good price. (For example the V.I.P. subscription is 15 USD/month = 10.2 euros/month, which is much better than the 15euros/month on the european servers!)
The only disadvantage is a very slight increase to latency, nothing to worry about though.

I'm UK based and I've been playing the free version since early September.
It's very good and I'm really enjoying it. So far I haven't spent a penny and I've earned enough of their store points to buy 2 adventure packs with spare change. (You can earn points by completing instances).
For me it's worked as a model. I'd never have tried it under the old scheme - $15 a month for a game which is just dungeons without all the other stuff WoW and those games offer? No thanks!
Now I'm loving it for old school group-centric dungeon running. It's more like 2005 WoW than WoW is. Feels like Scarlet monastery and Scholo all over again.
I certainly intend paying them some money at some stage but that's just because I'm really enjoying it and will be staying with it till end game. You don't need to pay a penny before about level 12. (There are 20 levels total).

You don't need to pay true, but some of the lower packs are worth the money. STK as the above post is for, is so far my favorite. The third quest, and it's traps had me almost hurling my mouse in frustration, but all in a good way, was a blast and great to see traps being such a big part of an instance. More alive than WOW's instances anyway.
I run STK numerous times with every new char. Delaras Tomb is also an under level 12 pack, and it's actually very popular with grouping.

Shan-to-Kor was pretty cool. My wife and I ran it two days in a row just for kicks. However, Three Barrel Cove is very bland in comparison. It had a lot of possibility but left me thinking that I just blew 600 some odd Turbine Points in the store for something that wasn't nearly as cool as STK (which we got for ~200 points when it was on sale).
