That format you see with the 'Book' bound in the DVD holder is known as a 'Digi-book'. It is reviled and despised by all sane DVD / Blue-Ray collectors. Sad to see that it has made its way to game distribution.

I look forward to buying this when it drops down to $30 within 6 months.

The CE of STO us ACTUALLY limited. you might get the regular edition for 40 in six months, maybe four, but not the CE.

The CE for Tabula Rasa was also limited and I found one in my local Wal-Mart clearance rack for $10 two nights ago.

I savored every minute of the unboxing! Almost had a heart attack when amazon emailed me and said that my shipment was delayed "due to forces beyond their control" but it still arrived today.

Did you have to feed the box a dollar bill to get it to open?

Pants. And Cryptic will rob you blind until you realise what a bait and switch, nickel and dime company they are and have suckered you, exploiting your Trek fan interest to the max, until you cancel the sub to keep what little money you have left to your name. Evidence = $15 subscription-model basic game + anything else must be bought in an online store. Disgusting!
