Has had a lifelong fascination for pill-bugs, thereby explaining her penchant for wearing all black, and living in dark cool places. She also shows a marked tendency for being able to roll herself up into a very small ball, although is not so successful at rolling away when threatened.

One of the things that we love in
EverQuest II is finding some really interesting out-of-the-way places as you adventure. Beyond that, the attention to little things like water breaking on the rocks really should be seen animated to be appreciated. Today we have a great screenshot sent in to us by Pedro A that - while it can't show us the waves breaking, sadly - does show us an interesting view he stumbled across. He writes in:
This is the first pic [I've sent], I hope you like it. I was wandering along Antonica's north shore when I saw this beautiful sight. Sometimes I get surprised... So many awesome places in EverQuest II and we use[d] to ignore them, concentrated (sic) on leveling, hunting, grinding. MMO's are beautiful.
From big to small, we love 'em all! However, we need you to send those great screenshots in. It's easy to join the ever-growing crowd of our most awesome
One Shots contributors! Just email us your screenshot along with your name, the name of the game, and a description of what we're seeing in the shot. We'll post it out here and give you the thumbs-up for sharing a great shot with us.

With Funcom offering some crazy good deals for returning players to
Age of Conan, many folks are once again wandering the lands of Hyboria. Well, not just that - but it's nice to have a sunny, hot land to wander as opposed to going out in the freezing cold. Today's great
Age of Conan One Shots comes to us from Thomas, who writes in:
[This] picture is of Callypiso outside Kheshatta City with the slums behind her. She was trying to track down an old man to further her powers over the dead.
Find something worth sharing on your recent adventures? Just in the mood to show off what you've been doing? All you have to do is email your screenshots to us at

WoW
As time winds down before the reset coming in
Cataclysm, many
World of Warcraft players are working their way through all the raid content, including Ulduar. For those who have never wandered into this particular dungeon, we have this great
World of Warcraft screenshot from Deadend on the Exodar server. This is the bullet train that takes adventurers to face the insane tinkerer, Mimiron.
Deadend writes in to give us his thoughts on this shiny transport:
Best train ever. From big to small, we want your MMO screenshots and stories! If you'd like to send something in, it's really easy. All you have to do is email your screenshot to
oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post it out here for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit.

WAR
Those in the past - or in strange fantasy lands - used this time of year to finish harvesting and laying in stores for the winter to come. For those of us who game in fantasy worlds, it's a great time to look back and reflect on the things that we may have achieved earlier this year instead! One such example is this incredibly picturesque image that comes to us from
Yavvy, who captured this during a live event in
Warhammer Online earlier this year. (Admittedly, a land more about conquering than harvesting, but still.) Yavvy writes in:
Catching a ride with the great eagles in Hunter's Vale, the dungeon for the Wild Hunt live event.
Have you captured a great image from an in-world event? If so, we'd love to see what you've been up to. Just email it in to us here at
oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post it out here and give you the nod.

Wake up, grab a quick bite of something that isn't too tainted, clean up a bit, toss on your gear and ride. It's another day in the post-apocalyptic world of
Fallen Earth, where players have to work hard to survive. You can scavenge and find items to create things you need or want, trade others for things you've made, fight for whatever cause your character feels is right, or so much more. Today's great
Fallen Earth screenshot comes to us from Shrike Song of
The Older Gamers clan (or TOG as they're known) who writes in:
My junkyard scavenger Shrike Song looking for the scrap lottery in every junk pile and scrapped car she can find. With the ruins of freeway overpasses in the background and a rusted T bird as a resting and scouting perch, no wonder that scavengers like her love their trusty horses so much. Hopefully that car netted you a bunch of fasteners!
Are you playing a niche game that you love and want to show off to the world? If so, why not take a moment and send us your image and thoughts! We'll be glad to post them. Email it to
oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post it out here and give you the credit for sending it in.

With Halloween now giving way to Thanksgiving next week in the United States, we figured it was a great time to show this one last Halloween image we recieved from
Guild Wars.
Thorband caught this image of his character howling at the lunatic moon during the recent Mad King celebration. The other thing we really dig about this image is the lovely fall colors, like those of a roasting turkey -- and of course, tasty pumpkin pie. Mmm, pie.
We love holidays in MMOs almost as much as we love pie -- maybe even more, depending on the game! So if you have a chance to grab some holiday celebration screenshots while you're out and about, please send some our way! We love to see what's up in the different worlds out there. All you have to do is email them to us at
oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post them out here and give you the love.

Know how we know you guys like
Dungeons and Dragons Online? You picked it as the
current adventure for our very own Shawn Schuster! He's currently working his way through the lands of
Dungeons and Dragons Online, to both enlighten and amuse. Of course, if you just want regular everyday amusement,
One Shots is glad to step in when players send us funny images -- like this one from Inspecta! He writes in to give us a visual pun:
[This is] a screen shot of my friends and I hangin' around the marketplace in DDO. You can almost hear the drum/cymbal on that punch line, can't you?
Have you figured out a way to create your very own visual pun in your favorite game? Think you've got a groaner you'd like to unleash on the world? Don't be shy! Send those funny screenshots in to us here at
oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll post it out here and let everyone in on the joke.

EVE
CCP
One of the things that
EVE Online has managed to do since its early days is inspire an incredibly loyal, devoted fanbase. They travel around the world to attend the Fan Fest in Iceland, they write fiction about the game, and of course - they send in crazy excellent
EVE Online One Shots for us to enjoy! Today's great screen comes to us from
Hetler R. who opted to add his note in a more poetic form. He writes in:
The grid is clean.
The dust will settle.
To infinity as they might seem,
Echoes in the distance rattle.
Beware of smite;
Beware of terror;
For wrecks in the sundance gleam.
Beware!
Because in space...
No one can hear you scream.
Do you have a game that inspires you to write poems, haiku, or even the occasional (very short) story? Would you like to share it with the world? If so, grab a great screenshot that supports what you've written and then send it our way at
oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, and the name of the game. We'll post it out here for everyone to enjoy and give you the credit!

For some of us, there's nothing quite as good as getting some gaming time in, save perhaps cracking open a good book. Sometimes you can even get a good book in
while getting some MMO time. When you add in being in the lovely lands of
Aion, that's a pretty solid combination -- or at least a pretty one as today's
One Shots shows! This great picture comes to us from Steffan A. who writes in:
I started a new character on Triniel, and I was wandering through Munihele Forest when I just had to stop and take a screenshot. Aion is one of the best looking MMORPG's I have ever played, and I think I'll be staying for awhile. For some, it's all about the beauty. For others, it's all about the play. Others still prefer a bit of both! We'd love to see screens of your favorite MMO, if you'd like to send 'em on in. Just email them to
oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick description. We'll do the rest. Easy, no?

With all the new games coming out recently, it's nice to see someone taking on some of the older titles with fresh eyes and seeing what's going on out there. Take, for example, this great
Star Wars Galaxies image that our friend
Petter M. sent in from
his recent travels. He writes in:
I'm currently doing some "research" into Star Wars: Galaxies to find out if it deserves its bad reputation. I'm enjoying it so far, exploring and questing my way across Tatooine. At first the planet seems pretty much barren, but there are a lot of things to see hidden away in the desert - all the player houses and cities, if nothing else. Here's a screenshot from a calm oasis which has been affected by the light side of the Force, where I ended up as a part of a Jedi-quest.Have you been exploring parts of your favorite game that we haven't seen here? All games are welcome, all images too! Send us combat, group posed shots, landscapes, you name it, to
oneshots AT massively DOT com. Some information like your name, guild, server, and a description of what's going on in the screenshot is awesome too. We'll post it up here and give you credit.
