This ruined stargate was part of a level 4 mission. Merchants had been using the gate to smuggle goods in from neighbouring systems without going through police and customs officers.

In this mission, Serpentis pirates had discovered the gate and set up a blockade. After killing several waves of Serpentis ships, the blockade was broken and the mission completed.
