Something we take for granted on our travels in EVE is the planets. We whizz past them in warp and competely ignore them.

I found this blue-green living world on my travels through 0.0. While evading enemy ships in one of EVE's most notorious and dangerous 0.0 systems (HED-GP), I found myself parked in front of this amazing sight.

Plans to make planets actual explorable environments and mix them into the game mechanics of EVE have been around since 2005. CCP has delayed planetary flight until they are certain it can be done properly. 30/11/08
