"PC Gaming is dying", so everyone seems to think that a savior needs to step up to reinvigorate the market. A number of people operating both in and out of the MMO genre seem to think massive games are the great white hope for PC gaming; not only are they lucrative in a time when 'PC game sales are down', but they hook players into using their systems for more than just spreadsheets. Look for someone to mutter this aphorism when a microphone is shoved into their face.
