With Burning Crusade having set a new gold standard for quality in an MMO, Lich King had to be pretty amazing to top Blizzard's first major content update. From all appearances, they're meeting and exceeding their goals. Enhancing the game's already rich lore, building on lessons learned in Outlands, and offering WoW players an entirely new endgame experience to explore. If that's not enough, of course, there's always time to start speculating on Blizzard's next expansion idea.
