Love them or hate them, they're here to stay. The Achievements system is quite a new addition to World of Warcraft. I'll admit that I wasn't sold on the idea when I heard about it, but I've completely changed my mind since. Achievements cater to almost all tastes, not only by giving us both easy and ridiculously hard goals, but it shows you your progress along the way; teasing you by showing you how near or far you are to or from your goal. For players who don't raid or don't care about gear, Achievments are realistic and easily attainable rewards.
