Last but not least is of course the wealth of content in WoW. Despite the long gap between expansions, Blizzard has saw fit to roll out quality content on a regular basis. While it might be nice to see a little more dynamism and change in the actual 'world' of WoW, the fact that you can count on new content on a regular basis is perhaps the most important reason in keeping players interested over the long-term.
