Taking the path less traveled was the game plan for the design of EVE Online. The game offered a system that lacked rails, an open market with a laissez-faire design, an invitation for constant combat, and a dark, cold universe. The skies would be less than friendly and the galaxy would be hostile. Yet, within this world were award winning graphics that awed gamers. Beautiful ships and scenery warmed this chilling virtual playground and invited thousands to partake in a new and unique adventure.
