Jora the Giantess

The tale of Eye of the North is actually three-in-one, with a central theme wrapping them together. A dark force known simply as the Destroyer aims to end all life on the planet. Your character is joined by representatives from three heroic races, like the Norn giantess Jora, in a bid to stop the Destroyer. Each of the hero's respective cultures must be brought to war footing in a lengthy series of quests that slowly earns the player factional standing. The Norn are a proud warrior race, and Jora's tale is one of personal heartache in the face of tradition and cultural exile. As there is no Norn army proper, this leg of the story is spent convincing individual warriors to take up the cause. It also shows off some fascinating shapechanging quests that entirely replace your skills bar, allowing you the opportunity to adventure as a wolf, or a raven.
