Cunning, patient and fearsome, the Weaver's home is not within the heart of the battle, but rather at its edge, where she can best employ her strengths and shield her weaknesses. With poison, clinging webs and the ability to burrow beneath the ground, the Weaver is a mistress of woe who skulks the fringes of battle.

This is the official description of the Spider Weaver. This monster's primary role is damage over time with the use of poison. It is also the master of surprise, with the ability to burrow under ground undetected, and lock its targets down with sticky webs. They can be loosely compared to the Lore-master, but without a pet.
