Massively

So long ago it almost seems funny now, the MMO middleware company Multiverse announced they'd acquired the license to make a massively multiplayer game based on the show Firefly and its companion movie Serenity. They had no plans to make the game themselves, but began actively seeking out a developer to create the game. That was in December of 2006, and we basically haven't heard another thing on the subject in the intervening years. It's within the realm of possibility that they might use this event as an opportunity to announce forward progress on the project, but it's kind of doubtful.
