Mounts/Travel Powers

There is nothing cooler than riding around on a pimped out warhorse, or a fearsome tiger, or even climbing aboard a giant turtle. Mounts are another relic from the MUD days, with support in graphical games going back to UO and beyond. Everyone loves these things, though, and if anything having a special means of conveyance is more popular than ever. Certainly World of Warcraft has set a new bar for the 'travel cool factor', with flying mounts, engineering mounts, rare cross-faction mounts, and even extremely rare raid loot mounts. City of Heroes is probably the other game well worth a mention here, as the freeing experience of flight and super jumping is almost unique in the MMO space. More games should let us leap tall buildings in a single bound!
