Inhabited by two powerful factions of Alliance and Horde, this entry into Northrend is a living tale of Arthas' deception and evil. The lady Sylvanas Windrunner, a relic of Arthas Menthil's violent past, has brought the Apothecary Society to the roof of the world, to face down the Scourge and finally wipe out the Lich King's army once and for all. Meanwhile, the loyal Alliance soldiers left behind by the spoiled prince's treachery did what they had to in order to survive. They founded the settlement of Valgarde, now the Alliance's most powerful stronghold here.
