Blizzard set record numbers for participants in all phases of patch 2.4's beta testing. Seen here are Game Masters getting into the fun, becoming huge (and wearing some of the rarest gear). At one time there was over a hundred thousand people on a single server, all hanging out within several virtual miles of each other.
