The Daily Grind: What's your side game?

Filed under: Culture, Opinion, The Daily Grind

Ahhh, the art of the side game. A game that you can let sit off on its own while you have another game to play. It's very much like the whipped cream chefs put atop the triple chocolate fudge cake. When you get tired of chocolate, you always have that whipped cream there to cut the taste for you so you can keep enjoying more chocolate.

Side games are the whipped cream of the MMO genre. They're always there to go back to just in case you get tired of your current obsession. Then, when you feel that you don't want to spend anymore time with your side game, you jump back into your main game feeling refreshed and ready to play.

But, dear readers of Massively, what game is your side game? What is that one game you can always just leave running on the side, just in-case you need a break? Tell us your favorite side game, and any stories you might have that go along with it, down in the comment box below!
